Manan Sheth was born and raised in Mumbai, India where he began his photographic practice before training with members of Magnum Photos in Paris. His current work focuses on contrasting themes of belonging and isolation while also speaking to the process of evolution. Amidst India's contextual backdrop as a developing country, he balances observations from several perspectives. Beyond the stories themselves, Manan strives to craft pieces that hold a symbolic representation of broader ideas and emotions which resonate with fragments of his own life.
